This year Mandalay Yoma has been successful in keeping up the leadership of the solar energy segment in Myanmar: a strategic partnership was signed with Engie, one of the world’s biggest electricity utility companies, to accelerate Myanmar’s electrification through decentralised renewable energy. We have also managed to implement over a dozen solar systems for both rural and commercial projects, including the connection of an additional 2000 households as well as the biggest solar rooftop of over 0.5 MW.
